I took advantage of the Silhouette Online store holiday sale and got this cute lantern. I was supposed to add vellum to it, but I didn’t have any. I think it still turned out great!
I had bought a bunch of flannel from Jo-ann’s Thanksgiving black Friday sale so decided to make a simple stocking using this tutorial. I then added my name with Heat n’ Bond on a scrap of red flannel. I cut my name out on the Silhouette using the font Lobster Two and welding it.
I bought a huge Christmas paper pack from Michael’s – it was on sale plus I had a gift card that I had received for my birthday. I made some more garlands with the Silhouette plus a banner to decorate the house. Last time for the Thanksgiving garland I sewed the leaves together with a longer stitch but this time I just kept it at the default settings and it turned out better.
I guess people don’t like the new design of the TMNT golf club covers … I just got an order for a set of 4 (of the all-knit original design) and that’s what I’ve been doing the last couple of days. I finished the 2nd one last night … just 2 more to go! I’m really flattered people are willing to pay so much for these covers – otherwise it’s just not worth my time.I can’t wait til I get this order done so I can get back to sewing stuff for my friends and family. Luckily I got most of it done – just a few more hats to go 🙂
