Made a mouse fleece hat with applique ears last night.
Finished another minion golf club cover and crown royal bag today. I think people are starting to make their Christmas orders.
I don’t think I’ll take any more orders for the golf club covers since it takes so long to make them.
Another wedding today, so I made this pop-up card
I had to edit the file I found from here. The perforations were showing up as straight cuts and I changed the font for the word “love”.
So after making the fox hat the other day I decided to try it again – this time altering the pattern a bit to include a lining so there are no raw edges:
All I did was form a loop with each head band piece and sew up vertically. Then I put the right sides facing together and sewed along the bottom (the curvy part). Then I made another crown section (with the 4 triangle pieces). Next, attached the outside and the liner to each side of the headband piece, leaving an opening to turn.
I absolutely love making these!
I bought this pattern from Etsy. This was a pretty quick and easy hat – and I like that it’s lined. Fits me a little snug but I’d probably have to make it bigger for a guy.
I got lazy and just hot glue gunned the eyes and gills. Also I omitted the straps coming out of the ear flaps.
