Pumpkin Carving With the Silhouette

One cool thing about the Silhouette Cameo is that you can easily cut out intricate stencils.  A bunch of us got together for pumpkin carving night.  Can you guess which ones were done with a stencil?

If you just google pumpkin stencil, you’ll find a ton.  We just opened the file with Silhouette Studio and then traced it.  You can cut the stencil out on regular paper and tape it to the pumpkin, or we just cut it out on contact paper.

My favorite tracing tutorial for the Silhouette is from CleverSomeDay.   She explains things very clearly and it is totally worth the time.  She has a whole tracing series called Tracing Without Tears.
